Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Your voice stays yours. We use your recording only to create the track you order, we never use it to train AI or clone your voice, and it is deleted automatically as soon as your track is ready.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you use the Lume Alchemy website, create an affirmation track, upload or record audio, make a payment or contact us.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is:
The Dream Miners BVTrading as: Lume Alchemy
Houtheide 32
3150 Haacht
Belgium
Enterprise number: 0788.987.013
VAT number: BE0788.987.013
Email: hello@lumealchemy.com
2. What information do we process?
Audio and affirmation data
When you create a track, we process:
- voice recordings you make through the website and audio files you upload;
- music you upload;
- your selected settings: music, frequency, volume, playback speed and voice layers;
- your generated audio file.
Because you choose the content of your affirmations yourself, recordings may incidentally contain personal or sensitive information. We encourage you not to include personal information that is unnecessary for creating your track.
Order and payment information
Payment is handled by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Stripe collects the details needed for payment, such as your email address, name, country, billing information and payment method. We never receive your complete card number.
In our own systems we keep an order record containing an order number, your email address, your selected settings, the Stripe payment reference, the amount paid, the payment status and dates. We use your email address to send you the download link for your track. We can view the details Stripe collected for your payment in our Stripe account.
Customer support
If you email us or use the contact form, we process your name, email address, optional order number and the content of your message.
Technical information
To operate and secure the service, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, timestamps, error logs and order identifiers.
3. Why do we process your information?
We process information where necessary to:
- allow you to record or upload affirmations and create previews;
- save your track configuration during the ordering process;
- process your order and verify payment;
- generate your personalized audio track and make it available to you;
- provide customer support and investigate technical problems;
- prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- comply with accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
4. How we use your voice recording
Your voice recording is processed only to create the audio track you request. The preview is created entirely in your own browser: your recording is not uploaded until you choose to continue to payment.
Your audio is processed by our own software on our hosting provider's servers. It is never sent to an artificial-intelligence service. We do not use your voice recordings or affirmations to train artificial-intelligence models, create voice clones or build biometric voice profiles, we do not use your recording to identify you by your voice, and we do not sell your recordings to third parties.
5. How long do we keep your data?
- In your own browser. While you build your track, your recordings and settings are saved on your own device, so nothing is lost if you reload the page or return from the payment page. They stay there until you delete them in the builder or clear your browser's site data. A short access key for your order is also stored in your browser, so you can open your download page.
- Uploaded recordings and music. When you continue to payment, your recording and any music you uploaded are sent to our servers. If no payment is completed, they are deleted automatically within 4 days. After your track has been created successfully, they are deleted immediately. If creation fails, they are kept only until the problem is resolved, and at most 30 days after payment.
- Your finished track. Available for download for 10 days after creation, then deleted automatically.
- Order record. The order record described above, which contains no audio, is kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.
- Support emails and contact-form messages. Kept as long as needed to handle your question, and deleted at the latest 12 months after your question has been handled.
6. Service providers
We use the following service providers to operate the website:
- Netlify: website hosting, the servers that create your track, storage of uploaded recordings and finished tracks for the periods described above, and receiving messages sent through our contact form.
- Stripe: payment processing and payment verification.
- one.com: our email service, used when you contact us by email and to send you the download link for your track.
These providers may process personal data only insofar as necessary to provide their respective services and subject to applicable contractual and data-protection requirements. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking services. Our fonts and scripts are hosted on our own website, so no data is sent to other third parties when you visit.
7. International transfers
Some of these providers may process or store information outside Belgium or the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we use providers and transfer mechanisms that provide the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Information about these safeguards can be requested using the contact details above.
8. Cookies and local storage
We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. The website only uses storage in your browser that is technically necessary: saving your track configuration while you build it, and remembering the access key for your order. The Stripe payment page may use cookies that are necessary for secure payment, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
9. Legal bases
- Performance of a contract: processing necessary to create, sell and deliver your personalized track.
- Legal obligation: information we are required to retain for accounting, tax or legal purposes.
- Legitimate interests: proportionate activities such as website security, fraud prevention and resolving technical problems.
- Consent: where consent is required. We do not currently carry out processing that relies on consent.
10. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you have the right to:
- obtain information about how your personal data is processed;
- access your personal data;
- correct inaccurate personal data;
- request deletion;
- request restriction of processing;
- receive certain data in a portable format;
- object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise a privacy right, contact hello@lumealchemy.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
11. Deletion of your audio
You can ask us to delete personal audio still held by us at any time, subject to any overriding legal obligation. Deleting an audio file does not require deletion of the accounting information relating to your purchase, which we are legally required to keep.
12. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, accidental loss or destruction. Uploaded recordings and finished tracks are stored privately and are only accessible with the secure key linked to your order, and downloads are only possible after payment has been confirmed. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping downloaded tracks secure on your own devices.
13. Children's privacy
The Lume Alchemy service is intended for adults. Users under the age of 18 should only use the service with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing or profiling purposes.
14. Third-party websites
The website may contain links to external websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies, and The Dream Miners BV is not responsible for how independent third parties process personal information outside the Lume Alchemy service.
15. Complaints
If you believe your personal data has been processed improperly, please contact us first so that we can investigate the issue. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. For The Dream Miners BV, this is the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, our technology or applicable laws change. The most recent version is always published on this page together with its last-updated date.
